Because we asked for a twin room we got a disabled room which was not as comfortable as the adjacent room occupied by others in our group. There was no shelves or hooks in the bathroom
It was very pleasant and quiet. Good food. Great location for catching a ferry the next morning. Would definitely stay there again.
Excellent accommodation, food first class, staff helpful and courteous - we would definitely recommend to friends
Very good reception and service. Room was very good. We did not use the dining facilities other than breakfast, which was good and freshly cooked.
I have a real issue with the booking arrangements. Credit card debited 48 hours before arrival and yet there is a 100% penalty for cancellation at any time after booking. Although we accepted this at the time of booking we subsequently tried to cancel due to family medical emergency, We were billed for 2 rooms as booked despite trying to cancel 3 weels before booked date! As a result I think this accommodation suffers and I am sure the occupancy rate would escalate with a sensible booking cancellation protocol. Why debit my credit card 48 hours before arrival if cancellation is impossible?
Proximity to Leeds Castle and main road A20
Squeaky floor -minor problem.
Very accomodating - very friendly, and excellent value for money
Friendly staff and the breakfast
We were in the annex which had harsh lighting, strange decor ok if you like anything from the orange spectrum, flat pillows, window latches missing. The hotel inspector would have a field day.
Very welcoming, food was lovely.
Said it was near a river which we couldn't find? Was looking forward to my river walk! Carpet needed a good hoover and when I pulled back the bed cover the throw had stains on which was very off putting, although the quilt underneath and sheets were pristine white. I would have prefered to have had no throw at all. Room was in the extention, on the edge of the carpark, which seemed to be the meeting point of the village.I think a car was being sold at one point! They also had a dinner and dance on which we weren't informed off and although they said they would cater for us I was looking forward to having a meal in the restaurant side rather than the bar area.
The staff is very friendly
The room can do with better pillows , a bin in the bathroom , a soap holder/ dispenser in the shower etc.. so more thought around the guest's comfort
An attractive traditional pub with good food. Not far from Leeds Castle.
We felt a little bit like intruders as there was a Saturday evening event on that used virtually the whole venue - it was basically a question of join it, starve or go elsewhere to eat from a relatively remote location. There was no internet access at all.
The location was good for what I needed and the staff were friendly.
There was astrange odour in the hall of the accomodation area. The breakfast was not allthat great, especially the toast.
My daughter & I chose to stay at the Roebuck Inn initially because of the close proximity to Leeds Castle, where we were going to a wedding. We found it to be very comfortable, clean, with a tv in the room & tea/coffee making facilities. A full English breakfast was included in the price, served in a very homely & comfortable dining area. We would have no hesitation in staying at the Roebuck Inn in the future & would highly recommend it.
We booked a family room and when we arrived, the single bed had not been made up. The cover on the double bed and the carpet was very stained. The pillows were very flat and did not fit the pillow cases. The black out blind on the door was broken. The bathroom was very basic and despite staying two nights, we were not provided with enough toilet paper. The table for smokers (this was also a public house) was right outside our room and at night it was very noisy and we could hear alot of swearing; we have a two and a half year old who we were trying to get to sleep.
The beer and friendly staff
Would have been nice to have had some sort of preservers with breakfast
The staff where particulaly freindly and helpfull, the hotel itself was very pleasant clean and the evening meal was great and priced resnonably. Breakfast was enough to last all day bedrooms spotless all in all could not find a fault would rcomend to all if they pass this way and need somewhere to stay
